Four lines that get you a better quote

  • Alloy and temper6061-T6 rather than just aluminum. If you do not know, describe the job and leave it to the shop.
  • Stock sizeThe block the part is cut from drives the price more than the finished weight does.
  • Which features are criticalName the two or three. Everything else can sit at standard tolerance.
  • Finish and maskingAnodize grows into bores and threads. Say what has to be masked.
